Taiwan Day 2

Our second day started with the morning calls at 6am in the morning -.- Tiredddddddd. Then we get dressed and had our buffet breakfast in the hotel. I still remember i only ate some bread and eggs. Cause the food was......not very nice xD

Well, it was a rainy day AGAIN. So troublesome as we had to carry umbrellas along the journey. But it's ok we still enjoy a lot there ;)

And I learnt something from yesterday, i wore like a fatty xD But fortunately my legs are fat like penguins so i can wear leggings. HAHAHAHHAHA.

Okay no more crapping. 3 hours journey from Taipei to Taichung. So i slept all the way, hahahhaaha.
The first destination: The creepy hotel >>> 故宫博物馆 (museum)
No photos cause those display items are very very very precious until cannot kena camera flash. Hahahahhahahaha

Got a flyer with an ink on it, as a memory (but too bad i forgot where i put it already, hehehe)

SOOOO many people in the museum. It was like 200++ at the time we reached and at the moment we left it was about 2000++. Crazy!!! I dislike crowded places, lol :D

After that we went for lunchie ;) BBQ, buffet and 火锅!

The blissful lunch <3

The second destination: Restaurant >>> 自由广场

For me, there is nothing much to see here so i just took some photos under the rain. Hehehe. And this is the place my umbrella broke T_T The wind was blowing strongly and the weather was sooooooooo cold. I think the low temperature hurt my nose and it turned red like Rudolph the red nose reindeer /.\

But one thing special here is there are bunch of pigeons! The fat fat ones. They are fat most probably everybody feeds them. Hahaha. Malaysia pigeons damn skinny xD Omg i have to say that they are super scaryyyyy. When they spot someone is holding food, the whole bunch of pigeons will fly together towards the 'target'. So scary can u imagine that? xD

Hehehe, the brave girl that managed to snap a photo with them. Teehee clap clap ^_^

The third destination: 自由广场 >>> 陶艺老街

Such a beautiful street! U agree? Everything is so romantic there, except the smelly tofu stall. -.- Seriously i dont think smelly tofu is nice to smell -.- And it tastes like shit! Omg.... -.-

Me with my hot chocolate from 7-eleven ;) Hot chocolate has became my good friend during super cold weather, hehehe.

My dad bought this for the whole family. This is known as the 牛角面包, something like croissants but it tastes much much better! Its name come from its appearance, cause it looks like a horn, hehehe. Omg i miss this a lot. Yummm ; p

The happy fatty girl ^_^

I know right, very sampat to eat ice cream during winter. Hahahhaa but who cares cause it is gooddddddddd~ The cone is made up of the 牛角面包, and that makes it special ;)

Mine is strawberry yogurt flavour. Teehee :D

The fourth destination: Old street >>> Ta Shee Blooming Oasis

There is a beautiful lake before the oasis. Look so nice but the temperature was killing me. My nose turned purplish red and everybody laughed at me. Sobsss :(

Trying to hide my nose from the strong wind xD

Romantic scene!

Spot the red flowers on my left. Those are snapdragons! The incomplete dominance one. LOL. If u are/were a Biology student, then u will understand what im trying to tell ;)

Cute gigantic scarecrow, hehe ;)

Above the blooming oasis there are horses! Wahahaha i like horses! My second favourite animal after dogs ^_^

So cute so cute! :D

But i dont dare to touch them. Cause there is a signboard saying that they will bite :(

After that we checked in to our second hotel, and we stayed here for 2 nights : )

Simple and neat. I like this ^_^

The fifth destination: Hotel >>> 逢甲夜市 (Fengjia night market)

So clean compared to our pasar malam. Hahahhaha.

Very crowded because the rain had stopped. Luckily else i have to eat and shop under the rain, potong stim -.-

Korean spicy ricecake, nice!

Fried squid! STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS! Super duper yummehhhh! I think we queued up to buy for 3 times? LOL. Im not a squid lover but i really like this a lottttt~

See! So tempting one, lol...

And this is the famous chicken chop according to our tour guide. But.... I think it is not worth to queue up for 40 minutes for this. ;(

Fried boneless drumstick.

鸡蛋糕. 3 packets for only NT100/RM 10. Each packet comes with 3 pieces ;)

Pearl milk tea. A must try in Taiwan! And i wonder why i only spotted one Chatime outlet in Taichung since Chatime is so famous in Malaysia ;(

Machines selling soft toys. Hehehe they are so cute but I think it is not worth at NT200 per try :(

After filling our stomach, we went shopping along the night market. So many nice and cheap items around the market but i only managed to grab some ;)

A pair of ankle boots at NT390
Shorts at NT285
Hair acessories at NT200

That's all for my second day in Taichung ;) More to come and to be continued...... ; )
